BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Our Board of Directors are leaders from various fields and are actively involved in GSM ministry.They serve a two-year term but are not limited to a number of terms.
David Beckett is the founder of GSM, an ordained pastor, and a doctoral student at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. David completed his Masters in Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary and has served as a pastor and Bible teacher at HGU in South Korea and taught at Colombo Theological Seminary in Sri Lanka. David graduated with a BBA degree in Accounting and Information Systems from UTSA.
Bill Fisher served Born 1956 in Heidelberg, Germany to an Army family. Moved often until college at University of Illinois Accepted Christ as my Savior in 1972. Have worked in Financial Services for 35 years. Married in 1998 to another believer, Sue, in Chicago. We have two teenage boys, ages 13 and 16. Adopted our youngest son from Russia in 2004. Robert Simpson serves as Chairman of the GSM Board of Directors and the Advisory Board. Robert is an AVP in External Affairs at USAA with extensive executive leadership experience in enterprise planning, corporate and business strategy development, and operational improvement and management. He is the chairman of The Conference Board’s Council of Strategic Planning Executives and has a BS degree in Computer Science from Baylor.
Rich Delano Married thirty years to Linda with three children. Work as an auditor with Aventine Consultants in San Antonio, Texas.
Jean Nystrand served as Executive Director of BSF International, combining her love for God’s Word, a passion for cross-cultural ministry and seasoned leadership experience. Jean serves her church in various roles and is chair of the Board of Directors of Thrive Life Skills, a not-for-profit ministry that develops and provides a curriculum that teaches life skills to disadvantaged people around the world.
Terry Taylor has a Masters Degree in Theology as well as masters degrees in financial management and international relations. He has been a pilot for the Air Force and Southwest Airlines for 43 years. Terry is a deacon, leads bible studies, and teaches on missions in Mongolia, India, Bangladesh, and Uganda.
DR. THOMAS KAY, M.D
Dr. Thomas Kay, MD is an emergency medicine physician in New Braunfels, Texas. He and his wife Amy and three children served as medical missionaries in Romania.
